Choose What Works for You
One-off Workshops
Unlock creativity, conversation, confidence and connection through these unique sessions. Invite me to your workplace, school, library, theatre, museum, youth club or support group, and I’ll use words and warmth to get people talking.
To suit different budgets and schedules, you can choose from three different workshop lengths: short (1-2 hours), medium (half-day) and long (whole day). Workshop content can be adapted to suit young people and adults, plus various learning and communication styles.

WORD PLAY - poetry for learning & literacy. Games & activities to develop reading, writing, speaking & listening skills. Ideal for young people in schools, alternative provision & youth clubs, or adult literacy projects.
LIFELINES - poetry for journalling and self-reflection. A mixture of discussing and doing, to get the thoughts out of your head and onto the page. Ideal for support groups and charities working with mental health and wellbeing.
LET ME SPEAK - poetry for confidence and empowerment. Creative tasks for people who have something to say, but need the courage to say it. Ideal for charities and support groups advocating for people who feel silenced.
SPEAK UP - poetry for public speaking and performance. Ideal for youth groups, schools and businesses, as an alternative to those boring ‘presentation skills’ sessions.
STORY MINE - poetry for exploring, discovering and sharing personal stories. Ideal for people who have a story to tell but don’t know where to start.
Workshop Series
A 6-part programme designed to help participants overcome barriers, unlock their creativity and tell their story.
Think of this like an ‘adopt-a-poet’ scheme, where I become your friendly neighbourhood facilitator for a while, helping participants to find words for things left unspoken - until now.
Workshop series always end with a sharing event and are offered as a 1-week intensive, once a week (for six weeks), or once a month (for six months).

The Untold Story Project
Session 1: Open-up – build trust, connection & relationships with the group.
Session 2: Shed light – explore your own story with a searchlight.
Session 3: Dig deeper – mine your experiences to discover the gems.
Session 4: Write it down – capture your story on the page.
Session 5: Speak it out – give voice to your story.
Session 6: Sharing event – tell your story to others.
Live Performances & Talks
Who’s got a story to tell? I’ll go first.
Book me for a poetry set, and I will use spoken word poetry to share my own lived experience of light breaking into dark spaces. Tell me about your event, budget and audience, and I will tailor my set to suit your needs.
Book me for a talk and I will use my experience as a creative practitioner to demonstrate how storytelling can be a powerful tool for connection and change. Expect case studies, observations, plus the odd poem.
Book a follow-up workshop (or workshop series) and I’ll help your community share their own stories, through poetry.
